Integrity is everything

Integrity is the cornerstone of all values. The ability to trust the motives of others in our group is essential to high-performing teams. We can engage and find common ground when we believe someone is honest and reliable - regardless of whether you agree with their business decisions. “Do what is right, always”. If a decision isn’t the right thing to do, lean into your integrity. Having the confidence to say no or push back if you feel a decision will harm your company, your client, the people you lead, or anyone potentially impacted. It might take some courage and practice, and if ever you do fail to meet your standard of integrity, don’t waste calories on excuses. Acknowledge it, own it, and learn from it. That’s integrity.
